CUBA

cuba, usa

There are Cubas in Alabama, California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. We will launch a PR campaign to bring true Cuban culture to these small, boring, American towns. Campaign will feature pop-up dance classes, a baseball tournament, a concert of Cuban music, and more.

A “Vive Cubano” playlist on Spotify targeted at those who have been searching for vacation options.

CUber

For one week in New York, we will provide select Uber drivers with “Yank Tanks,” the customized Cuban versions of classic American cars from the 50’s. This will give riders a little taste of what it would be like to take a taxi in Havana.

In Cuba, artists and musicians make more than doctors and dentists. With this insight, we made our campaign revolve around the idea of how vastly different Cuba's culture is from any other nation's.
Cuba’s wealth of culture makes it the richest nation on Earth.

digital

We will partner with Cuban-American owned and Cuban-themed businesses around the US – dance studios, cafes, nightclubs, music venues, baseball games, cigar stores, restaurants. Using geolocation APIs from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, we will give people points based on their patronage of these businesses. When users reach a certain number of points, they will be considered “cultured” enough to be eligible for discounts on Cuban goods, services and vacations.
